An Evening with Scott Hamilton & Friends Raises $1.6 Million for CARES

The 12th annual An Evening with Scott Hamilton & Friends featuring special musical guest Sheryl Crow was held on Saturday, November 5 and was the most successful fundraiser to date. More than 8,500 tickets were sold to the ice show which featured performances by 14 Olympic, U.S. and World Champion ice skaters.

The gala, chaired by Maria Miller, was attended by 875 guests. Overall, the 2011 event raised $1.6 million dollars to fund programs of The Scott Hamilton CARES Initiative at Taussig Cancer Institute.

Since its inception, An Evening with Scott Hamilton & Friends has raised more than $12.6 million to support the 4th Angel Mentoring Program, and clinical research projects.
