Corporate-Sponsored Volunteering and Workplace Volunteer Programs are a kind of Corporate Social Responsibility that encourages employees to commit their time and skills to charitable causes.

Corporate volunteer programs can take many forms, from employees donating their time at in-person events to remote or in-person help with specific tasks such as web design, marketing, and data management. Some companies support their employees’ volunteering efforts by offering paid time off (Volunteer Time Off or VTO) or through volunteer grant programs that reward employees with donations to their chosen charities based on the hours they contribute!

  • Many employers allow their employees to donate to a Nonprofit of their choice. This comes out of your pay check pre-taxed, may automatically be matched by your employer, and they send it to us directly. You can even set this up as a recurring monthly donation. No need to do anything else!
