Company-Sponsored Volunteering
Corporate volunteerism is a kind of Corporate Social Responsibility that encourages employees to commit their time and skills to charitable causes. To do this, companies establish corporate volunteer programs that formalize these activities and track their overall impact.
Corporate volunteer programs can take many forms, from employees donating their time to help with specific tasks for a nonprofit to offering specialized skills like web development, legal counsel, or financial advice. Some companies support their employees’ volunteering efforts by offering paid time off (Volunteer Time Off or VTO) or through volunteer grant programs that reward employees with donations to their chosen charities based on the hours they contribute!
You may need to provide the following information about CARES to your employer to be eligible:

Many companies run incentive programs that make it easier for their employees to volunteer. Among corporate volunteer incentives, volunteer time off (VTO) programs and volunteer grant programs (dollars for doers) are the two most popular offerings.
Sometimes, companies will also offer unique volunteer opportunities to employees like team volunteer grants or skills-based volunteering opportunities.

Many employers allow their employees to donate to a Nonprofit of their choice. This comes out of your pay check pre-taxed, may automatically be matched by your employer, and they send it to us directly. You can even set this up as a recurring monthly donation. No need to do anything else!
